The run

i. When I first saw the light, I meant to run towards it. I meant to turn that leaf around and lie in its glorious green, forever. Whether it was for good or for a change? I wasn't quite sure. All I knew was that I wanted to breathe. Live too, if it is not too much to ask for. I wanted to take all my favorite items with me. 2 items, rather. That filthy ipod i've mishandled in every way possible. That dirt of a blanket that barely kept me warm on rainy nights.
Big bag, little room. Young girl, aging mind. "I saw the light, I saw the light but hey, it never saw me."

Picking locksLeave me at the door, I have yet to find my keys, I always lose them, unintentionally.
I wanted to wait for the morning, for it's brighter and clearer then, but daylight scares me badly, I, a scenery in a lion's den.
Bad with picking but it's worth the try, pull on heart strings, someone dies. I fear it's a fear more than fear itself, my fear is this fear that I fear myself. "Damn lock. Why won't you just open already?"

Everytime I close my eyes, i try to envision a world where the only form of expression on everyone's faces are ear to ear smiles. The people are happy. Happy and silent. Everyone understands everyone. There is no need for any form of communication, our voices are from our hearts. We share the same heart. Our heartbeats beat as one. Slow... but steady. The air is fresh to taste. Like a bottle of mineral water, clear and without sediments. How wonderful, how brilliant. Judgemental beings? No longer. For acceptance and tolerence had carved itself deeply into our bones. Everyone lives in harmony, everyone is in love. Pain and suffering? We know not of. For the only pain that is possible to feel is completely painless. Suddenly, everyone becomes family. Everyone cares. Life brims with meaning as the light at the end of the tunnel shines brighter with each passing day and step. The laughter from our hearts eradicate the music from our generation. Our gifts to others would be the gift of life. The sun would render itself completely useless. For the beautiful arrays of light that beams from our open hearts are more than sufficient to light up the earth.

Everytime I close my eyes, I try to envision a world where life is simply divine.
